First off, I need to say this, you are NOT a cow, you are a person!
I’ve never liked the term “personal branding” because it reminds me of branding cows and herd mentality and in general feels super disingenuous and surface level.
However I will humbly admit that I’ve had to use the term in order for prospective clients to be able to find my services and offerings.
Even though the term is not in alignment with my philosophy on what makes great business imagery…it works for now until we can collectively find a better term (can we figure this out sooner than later though?! )
But back to the nuts and bolts of it, the main thing that I like to implore when talking about “branding” work is PERSONALITY! Essentially that is the real deal nectar of the work I do…capturing personality.
I find there are three key ingredients to creating a successful personal brand.
1. Be knowledgeable about something
2. Have an opinion
3. Deliver it with personality
I see so many knowledgeable businesses owners afraid to have an actual opinion these days!
Let me say this! You are allowed to have your own style, humor and we’ll considered view points! In fact, that’s what makes you memorable
If you’re looking to finally step out of your business owner shell and own your opinions, humor and style…let”s connect.
I offer “personal branding” (personality) portrait sessions that are all about bringing those unique qualities that make you you, to life, so other people can take notice and discover their alignment with you and your business.
2023 is the year of owning it! Let’s make it happen!
