How Shared Values Can Drive Customer Loyalty
Are you concerned about whether or not to rant about your personal opinions on social/political issues on your company’s social media pages and how that may affect your business? This is a common concern that I hear from clients of mine when they consider what to post on their social media pages how that will affect their brand identity and overall impression they leave on their community.
Here are some 2022 customer loyalty statistics for you to consider.
50% of clients are belief driven buyers
57% boycott brands based on the brands position on a social or political view
67% Buy from a brand for the first time based on the brands position on a controversial topic.
25% Will pay premium prices on products and services based solely on a brands position on a social or political issue
51% will remain loyal buying from the brand exclusively and more often.
90% Of consumers will switch to brands that share their values and outlooks on life.
If you’re concerned about whether or not you’ll gain or lose followers and clients based on your social or political status, know that you may…however those who DO align with your values will remain more loyal in the long term.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you share your personal values on your company’s website? Why or why not? Let me know in the comments.
